Diana Hammel and Daniel Joseph Hartington were united in marriage June 4, 2012 by Justice of the Peace Ernest Adams at Elizabeth Park Rose Garden in West Hartford, Conn. A reception followed at Chelo’s in Warwick on September 8.

The bride is the daughter of Peter and Annett Hamel of Erfurt, Germany. She is currently a student at Central Connecticut State University.

The groom is the son of Robert and Susan Hartington of Warwick. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and the University of Hartford-Hartt School of Music. He is a professional classical guitarist and serves on the adjunct faculty at the University of Hartford and Eastern Connecticut State University.

The couple resides in New Britain, Conn.
