Diana J. (Catania) Fandetti, 79, a resident of Warwick for 58 years, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 14, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Angelina (Perisi) Catania. Diana worked in the Fabric Dept. at Ann & Hope for 10 years and was a pieceworker at Kenney Mfg. Co. for 25 years before retiring. Diana enjoyed baking, sewing, and crocheting. Diana cherished and loved celebrating all holidays with her family and friends.

She was the devoted mother of Deborah A. Lussier and her husband, Theodore, of Hope, Anthony V. Fandetti and his wife, Richelle, of SC, Carol A. Linehan and her husband, William, of Warwick, Lynn M. DeSousa and her husband, Samuel, of Warwick, and the late Matthew J. Fandetti; sister of Joseph Catania of CT, and the late Rosemarie Alpaio, Matthew Catania, Josephine Alpaio, and Beverly LaPan. Diana was the dedicated grandmother of William, Lee Ann, Michelle, Eric, Ryan, Madison, Jayden, and the late Nicholas; great-grandmother of Konner. She was the longtime companion of the late James Thacker.

Her funeral will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane. Burial in Pawtuxet Memorial Park Cemetery, Warwick. Visiting hours, Thursday 6-8 p.m.
