Diane M. (Medeiros) Bromberg, 62, of Stubtoe Drive, died November 10, 2011 at home. She was the beloved wife for 35 years of William M. Bromberg.

Born in Fall River, Mass., she was a daughter of the late Leonel S. and Mary P. "Mae" (Oliveira) Medeiros. Diane was a dedicated volunteer with PARI and was its first newsletter editor and a recipient of the organization's Special Merit Award. She was an avid reader who belonged to the Cowesett Women's Book Club. She was an active member of PFLAG and a member of its board for nine years.

When her boys were younger, over the span of 15 years, she was an active member of the Rocky Hill School PTL. Her spirited nature as a volunteer extended beyond her family's activities as she often drove people to a doctor's appointment or to the library.

She was the beloved mother of Eric Bromberg and his wife, Lisa, of Uxbridge, Mass., Jared Bromberg and his wife, Jennifer, of Irvine, Calif. and Gregory Bromberg of Pawtucket; cherished sister of Sandra Shrader of Fall River, Paul Medeiros of Louisville, Ky. and Richard Medeiros of Warwick; and the proud and devoted grandmother of Adam Bromberg. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A prayer service was held Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home & Crematory, 659 East Greenwich Ave., West Warwick. Burial was in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, 6365 Post Rd., North Kingstown.
