The Warwick Public Library has put out a call for fixer-uppers and do-it-yourselfers looking for a new project or two.
No, the library isn’t planning on renovations, but rather is conducting a new fix-it event called the Community Workbench. The first meeting will be held Thursday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m.
Warwick garages, attics and basements are filled with all sorts of things that need some work to function again. The Community Workbench is a place where Warwick residents can bring broken household items to get ideas on how they can be repaired.
Those willing to share their expertise and looking to organize a monthly get-together are invited for this session. Sign up online at warwicklibrary.org or call 739-5440, x4. For more information, call 739-5440, x105. The library is located at 600 Sandy Lane. This event is free and open to all.
