Donald A. Anderson, 84, of West Greenwich, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 7, 2016. He was the beloved husband of 62 years to Judith W. (Wyatt) Anderson.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Arthur P. and Ellen (Peterson) Anderson. An Army veteran of the Korean War, Donald was a Letter Carrier for over 20 years with the US Postal Service before retiring in 1992. He was a huge Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Paul A. Anderson and his wife, Janice of Warwick and Peter W. Anderson and his wife, Cheryl of North Kingstown; four grandchildren: Rachel Czerwien, Dennis Walker, Timothy Anderson and Ashley Williams; and five great-grandchildren
His Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 8:30 am in the Iannotti Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.117), Coventry. Interment with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 p.m.
