Donald E. Ward, 87, died Friday, May 22, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Barbara M. (Lambert) Ward and husband of the late Alice L. (Standeven) Ward.

Born in Minnesota, a son of the late George and Grace (Bongaarts) Ward, he has been a resident in Warwick since 1949. Mr. Ward learned the art and trade of custom jewelry manufacturing as a young man. He managed several jewelry companies including Astor Jewelry, Cote Creations, RoseBud Jewelry and Nikol Creations. He served with the Army Air Corp. during World War II.

He is survived by three daughters, Sharon C. Musco Stein, Darlene L. Ward and Deborah A. Lebel; brother of Elaine Koski, the late Floyd Ward, Melvin Ward, Bernard Ward, Irene Sipola, Evelyn Ethier, Frances Newton and Margaret Schnurr. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He also leaves his beloved cat, Jake.

His funeral will be held Friday May 29, at 8:30 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Avenue.
