Donald M. Boylan, 88, of Warwick died Saturday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. He was the husband of the late Doris S. (Tower) Boylan.

Born in Providence, a son of the late John T. and Mary A. (Sullivan) Boylan, he had been a Warwick resident for 42 years. Mr. Boylan was a shipping and receiving supervisor at Ciba-Geigy for over 20 years before retiring. He was World War II Navy veteran. Donald was a member and past president of the Pawtuxet Athletic Club and was served on the Gaspee Days Committee.

He leaves three daughters, Maureen A. Boylan; Eileen E. Farrell (Brian); Lynn M. Brannon (David). He was the grandfather of Eric Fahlman, Matthew Kopsic, Melanie Farrell, Caitlin Farrell, Dennis, Lindsey, Bethany and Dylan Brannon; the late Adam Parmentier; and five great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Theresa Capone, Anne Moran, Lillian Cianciolo, Eileen Murlock, Margaret Boylan, Madeline Boylan, John, Henry, James, Edward, David and Robert ‘Red’ Boylan.

His funeral will be Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick at 10 a.m. Calling Hours Tuesday 4-7 p.m.

In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 N. Main St. Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated. Burial with military honors will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. www.trainorfh.com
