Donald R. Brunt, 52, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017.

He was the beloved son of Dolores A. (Anderson) Brunt and the late Donald J. Brunt. Donald had attended Franklin Pierce University and Bryant University before joining the Marine Corp. While serving in the Marine Corp., he worked as an Avionics Specialist on air bases around the world. He later graduated from East Coast Aero Technical School and has been employed as an Avionics Specialist for United Airlines and Electric Boat. Donald was an Eagle Scout with Troop #1 in Gaspee Plateau. He was a member of the American Legion and a proud third generation member of the Pawtuxet Athletic Club. He loved scuba diving, skiing, skydiving, deep sea fishing and camping with friends. He was also an avid fan of the Patriots and Red Sox.

He was the brother of Charles H. DeBevoise (Janet), Lisa C. (DeBevoise) Giannitelli and Elizabeth M. Brunt Lawrence (Kevin). He was the loving uncle of Robert, Edward, Henry, David and Cara and great uncle of Savannah.

His funeral will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 at 8:45 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church, Fair St., Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. Visiting hours Sunday 3-6 p.m.
