The Furniture Bank of Rhode Island is looking to the community to assist in the donations of gently used or new furniture and household items such as clothing, lamps, décor and linens to assist in the relocating and assistance of those victims of the recent flooding experienced at Dean Estates in Cranston.
During the flood of March 2010, the agency assisted by providing more than $32,000 in donated goods to flood victims throughout the state of Rhode Island, mainly Cranston residents. Again, the agency is looking for your assistance.
Please contact Mary Landreville, executive director, at 226-3537 for donations to be scheduled for pickup.
