Dora F. (Bucolo) Mazzone, 92, passed away surrounded by her family, Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Home & Hospice Care of RI. She was the wife of the late Elmo J. Mazzone, Sr.
Born in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Francesca (Calcavecchia) Bucolo. Dora loved working for the Warwick Public Library, Reference Department, for 25 years. After her retirement, she volunteered twice a week at the Warwick Public Library and prepared tax returns at the Pilgrim Senior Center.
Dora was the beloved mother of Robert V. Mazzone, Sr. (Deborah), Elmo J. Mazzone (Donna), Vincent A. Mazzone (Lois), Peter V. Mazzone (Barbara) and Philip A. Mazzone (Cathy); loving grandmother of Robby, Kristi, Michael, David, Andrea, Cristina, Lauren, Chloe, Megan, Becky and the late Lisa Mazzone. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. She was the sister of Salvatore Bucolo.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, June 13, at 9 a.m. from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
