Doris Horton, 82, of Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2013, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Care Center, Providence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Swansea, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Harold Horton and Marion (Luther) Horton. She was a resident of Warwick for over 20 years. She retired from the Unit Tool Co. of Warwick in 1993. Doris was an active Jehovah's Witness and enjoyed sharing her Bible knowledge with others.
Doris is survived by her twin sister, Dorothy Ribiero as well as her sister Barbara Horton, and three brothers, Raymond, Walter and William Horton; and several nieces and nephews; as well as her beloved Shih Tzu, Max. She was the sister of the late Harold, Irwin, Donald, Jerry, Arthur, Steven, Mildred Horton, Frances Potter and Ethelyn Souza.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial on June 1 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 544 Long Street, Warwick.
