Doris (Ouellette) Ruggieri

Doris (Ouellette) Ruggieri, age 88, of Narragansett Parkway, Warwick, died at home on Saturday, January 31, 2015. She was the wife of Anthony R. Ruggieri.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Charles J. and Aldea Y. (Angers) Ouellette, she lived in Warwick since 1960. Mrs. Ruggieri was employed as a waitress at several area restaurants, including the former Johnsons Hummocks, the Shriners, the Bank Café, the Country Inn, and the former G. Fox. She had also served as a caregiver. She was a member of St. Peter Church and its Women’s Club, and a member of the Red Hat Ladies.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Richard J. Capobianco of Tracey, California, Steven A. Ruggieri of Miami, Florida, and Michael R. Ruggieri and his wife, Dawn of Warwick; a brother, Raymond F. Ouellette of Englewood, FL; a sister, Rita Ricci of Deland, FL; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, February 6, at 11 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Burial will be private.
