Dorothy (Ross) Girouard, 90, of Warwick, died peacefully on February 8, 2014 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. She was the wife of the late Francis E. Girouard.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Louis & Gladys Ross. Mrs. Girouard was employed as a supervisor for the Cherry Semiconductor Corporation until her retirement.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Shirley L. Imbeault and her husband, John of Warwick. She was the cherished grandmother of Dawn M. Morrell and her husband, David, Craig J. Imbeault; and the great-grandmother of Victoria, Alexis, and David. She was the sister of Thomas Ross, Richard Ross, Frank Ross, Martin Ross, Marvette Beleau and the late Alice Cerio and Oliver Ross.
Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Greenwood, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95). Burial will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
