Dowler King

Dowler “Pete” King, 90, formerly of Sandy Lane, Warwick, passed away February 26, 2012. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorris (Graybill) King.

Pete was a decorated World War II veteran and a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by five children, Lenore Hynes and her husband, Charles, of Indiana, Beverly Olney and her husband, Ralph, of New York, Judy Worrell and her husband, Scott, of Warwick, Mark King and his wife, Lisa, of Maine and Carol Shaw and her husband, Jack, of Warwick; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Joy Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service March 3 at 9:30 a.m. in Woodbury Union Church, 58 Beach Ave., Warwick.
