In Celebration of Olympics, Cranston’s New Dream Big Elite Training Center Hosts Free Youth Gymnastics Clinic August 11

Free clinic is part of Dream Big Elite Training Center’s Grand Opening, which also features Olympic viewing party

In celebration of the 2016 Olympic Games, Dream Big Elite Training Center will host a free gymnastics clinic for youth on this Thursday at the new facility, 60 Walnut Grove in Cranston. The one-hour free clinic is open to youth 6-16 years-old, The clinic is part of Dream Big Elite’s Training Center’s grand opening celebration, which kicks off at 4 p.m. and will also include an Olympic viewing party and performances by many of Rhode Island’s top gymnasts.

The clinic will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and is designed to introduce youth to gymnastics by teaching basic skills in a fun and energetic environment. Free for participants, the clinic is hosted at Dream Big Elite Training Center, which will serve as the training facility for Dream Big’s numerous competitive teams. This is Dream Big’s second location in Cranston and third overall in Rhode Island.

The grand opening celebration will begin with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. The clinic will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 followed by performances by some of Rhode Island’s top gymnastics. The Olympics will be shown on large screens throughout the afternoon and evening at the new facility.
