Duncan McInnes, Jr., 84, died on June 26, 2015 at his home in Windham, Maine.

He was born in Biddeford, ME, on April 9, 1931, the son of the late Duncan, Sr. and Esther (Bryant) McInnes. Duncan grew up in Rhode Island, graduated from Gorton High School, and was a member of the Shawomet Baptist Church in Warwick. He was also a charter member and Master Counselor of Narragansett Chapter Order of DeMolay. He was a member of Nathanael Green Lodge #45, A.F.&A.M. and a 32nd degree Mason. Duncan enjoyed woodworking, restoring antique furniture, and he “could fix just about anything, except for the TV”. He also loved the water, especially Narragansett Bay. Duncan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lois (Bragger) McInnes; daughter, Betty Lyn McInnes of Windham, ME; son, Robert Duncan McInnes and wife Sheila, of Charleston, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Gwen A. McInnes and husband Shilo Annis, Jeremy C. Farley, John E. McDermott, III, Michael Wareing, and Kimberly A. Wareing; five great grandchildren, including Neala J. Annis, who loved her Papa very much; his sister Patricia A. Munk, of Ocala, FL; niece, Karen E. Magee and nephew, Robert H. Munk. Duncan is predeceased by his daughter, Bonnie A. Wareing.

A period of visitation will be held from 12 noon until the time of the memorial service at 1p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Rd., Windham. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.dolbyfuneralchapels.com
