The East Greenwich Housing Authority’s (EGHA) annual Great Graffiti Contest will be held Saturday, Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The rain date is Aug. 4. The contest is held at “The Luge,” Corner of London & Duke Streets.
EGHA will provide the tools (paint, chalk, masks and gloves). All ages are welcome to participate. Spray paint will be issued to kids’ 11+; children under 11 will receive chalk and finger paints. Participants may also bring their own supplies. There will also be a lip synch/dance contest. Participants should provide the song they will be performing a week in advance. Judging will be done by participants, supporters and spectators. Prizes will be awarded in all categories.
Pre-registration is recommended but not required. Contact Tracy at the East Greenwich Housing Authority. Snacks and drinks will be provided to all in attendance.
