Eileen (Boylan) Morlock, 98, of Fair Street, Warwick, an Irish matriarch to 12 siblings and their families, passed from this life July 6, 2011, to be reunited with family members who have gone before her. She was the wife of the late Louis B. Morlock. She and her husband had celebrated 61 years of marriage.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Sullivan) Boylan, she lived in Warwick since 1946. Eileen was employed as a secretary at Automatic Chain in Providence before retiring. She was an avid bridge player for over 50 years. Her favorite pastime was entertaining her six grandchildren with fabulous home cooking.
She leaves a son, Barry S. Morlock of East Greenwich; a daughter, Gail Morlock DeSisto of Portsmouth; a brother, Donald Boylan of Warwick; and six grandchildren, Carl, Kerry and Kathleen Morlock and Christi, Shelly and Chad DeSisto. She was the sister of the late Therese Capone, Anne Moran, Lillian Cianciola, John, Henry, James, Edward, Margaret, Madeline, David and Robert Boylan.
Her funeral was held July 11 from Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair St., Warwick. Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
The family suggests that a kind deed be done in her memory.
