Edmond J. Frigon, 92, was called to our Lord on January 8, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Rita “Betty” (Horr) Frigon for 66 years.
Born in Oak Park, Illinois, he was the son of the late Herve and Phibone (Breault) Frigon. Edmond was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Warwick VFW Post #272 for over 30 years, where he served as chaplain for 25 years. He retired from the Warwick Police Reserve after 25 years of service as a lieutenant. Family, God and Country, this is what he lived by.
Besides his wife; he is survived by his daughter, Kathleen F. Hornberger; granddaughter, Kelsey A. Hornberger and son-in-law, Timothy L. Hornberger. He was the brother of the late Lucille Marcotte, Luella, William, Gerard, Irving and Brother Benoit Frigon.
His funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Private burial with military honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter on Monday.
