Edward J. Luth, 93, died Saturday, November 28, 2015. He was a beloved husband for seventy-one years to Teresa (Indeglia) Luth

He was the son of the late Frederick and Philomena (Armao) Luth. Mr. Luth was employed with the U.S. Postal Service. He started as a mechanic and retired as an instructor and analyst in 1983. He also worked as a school bus driver for Serpa Bus, and was formerly a truck driver for McLean Trucking. A World War II Veteran, he served with the Seabees in the Pacific Theater.

He was the beloved father of Frederick E. Luth (Karen), Edward J. Luth, Jr. (Michelle), and the late Lorraine Marshall; grandfather of David, Albert, and Rhonda Taylor, James, Christopher, Abbey, and Autumn Luth; great-grandfather of Joseph, David and Thomas; brother of Marguerite “Rita” Kilgore.

A visitation will be held Wednesday 8-9:30 a.m. December 2, 2015 in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
