Edward P. Hrabcsak, 61, of Warwick, died January 3, 2013 at Kent Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Doreen L. (Kopyscinski) Hrabcsak.
Born in Danbury, Connecticut, he was the son of Dolores (Griswold) Hrabcsak of Warwick and the late Edward Hrabcsak. Mr. Hrabcsak was a sales representative in the furniture sales industry. He was a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School, class of ‘69 and the University of Notre Dame, class of ‘73. After graduating from college, he played with the Red Sox Farm Team in Elmira, New York as a pitcher. He served as President of the Pontiac Village Association. His humor and compassion will be missed by all.
Besides his wife and mother; he leaves his three loving children: Evan P. Hrabcsak of Warwick, Dana A. Hrabcsak and her fiancé, Craig D. Sroka (E.P.P.D.), and Kristen L. Hrabcsak of Warwick. Cherished brother of Patricia Florenz and her husband, Roland of East Greenwich and Linda Muto and her husband, Michael of North Kingstown. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. from The Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A off I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3252 Post Rd., Warwick. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.
