Roger Williams Park Zoo offers two experiences to start off spring family fun – the annual Egg Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, March 24, and visits with the Easter Bunny.
The Egg Scavenger Hunt runs on March 24 from 11a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will each receive a Scavenger Hunt card with clues to help them find five egg stations throughout the Zoo. After children collect an egg from each station, they can redeem it to receive a goodie bag prize. Parents should note that the last scavenger hunt card will be handed out at 2:30 p.m., with the egg stations closing at 3. The Egg Scavenger Hunt is free with Zoo admission.
Visits from the Easter Bunny will take place in the Zoo’s greenhouse on Saturday and Sunday March 23 and 24, and on Friday and Saturday the 29th and 30th. Visiting hours run from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Zoo guests can enjoy a tasty treat, make a fun craft and take their own picture with the Easter Bunny. Tickets for this event can be purchased at the greenhouse as visitors enter the event. The price, in addition to Zoo admission, is $10 for children (ages 3-12), and $5 for toddlers (ages 0-2); there is no additional charge for parents. For more information about this event, call 941-4998.
