Gareth and Laren Nadeau of Pine Hill Road, Johnston, announce the engagement of their son, Paul Nadeau, to Elaine Alexander, daughter of Samuel and Linda Alexander of South Plainfield, N.J.
The future bride is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy. She is employed by Acorda Therapeutics.
The future groom is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. He is employed by Cranston Public Schools at Garden City Elementary School. He is also head hockey coach at North Smithfield High School.
The couple is planning a May 2014 wedding.
