Eleanor M. Petrarca

Eleanor M. Petrarca, 84, of West Warwick, passed into the hands of our Lord and the awaiting arms of her beloved husband, Fred, March 7, 2012 after a brief illness.
Formerly of Cranston, Eleanor was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Francis X. Page and Catherine T. Radigan. Eleanor and Fred shared 62 years of happiness and devotion, enjoying the Catskills and Siesta Key in retirement.
Eleanor was very active in the Msgr. Deangelis Manor I tenants association serving as its treasurer and had been a longtime employee of Bulova Watch before retirement.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eleanor was pre-deceased by her sister Barbara Gianfrocco, and is survived by a brother, Thomas Petrarca of Lake Forest, Calif.; several cousins; sisters-in-law Alice Petrarca of West Warwick and Joan Petrarca of Warwick; her dear friend, Marion Coughlin of West Warwick; as well as many nieces and nephews and their families that loved their Aunt El who all will greatly miss her caring ways.
Her funeral was held March 12 from Urquhart-Murphy Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, 854 Providence St., West Warwick. Burial followed in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
