Ernest D. Anderson, 67, of Havana, Florida, passed away October 10, 2013 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Anderson was born March 5, 1946 in Providence, RI. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Mr. Anderson was a system engineer with Syn-Tech Systems, and had worked with Leesona Corporation for many years in North Carolina.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Peggy Sue Moody Anderson; his sons, Eric Anderson and his wife, Chris, of Hillsboro, North Carolina and Brian Anderson and his wife, Cathy, of Greensboro, NC, his daughter, Ivy Rutledge and her husband, Gerry, of Greensboro, NC; his father, Ernest T. Anderson of Greenwich, RI, his mother, Gloria Johnson Taylor of Greenwich, RI; his sisters, Kay Bourassa and Maureen Rossiter both of Warwick, RI, his brother, Bill Anderson of Greenville, RI; and his grandchildren, Caitlin Basile Cutchin, Stella Jane Rutledge, and Samuel Pierce Rutledge. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Glenn Rutledge; and his step-mother, Doris Anderson.
There will be a memorial service scheduled at a later date.
