Evelyn A. (Lane) Englert, age 82, of Algonquin Drive, Warwick, died on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the wife of Walter H. Englert. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in November.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late John J. and Mary F. (Griffin) Lane, she lived in Warwick for 42 years. She summered at Cape Cod for most of her life, and greatly enjoyed the times spent there with family & friends.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons and a daughter; Donald W. Englert and his wife, Diane, Nancy M. O’Rourke and her husband, Daniel, and Stephen J. Englert, all of Warwick; a sister, Marie G. Lorey of Needham, Massachusetts; a sister-in-law, Barbara Cronin of Norwood, MA; and three grandchildren, Kristine Englert, Kerri O’Rourke, and Michael Englert. She was the mother of the late Barbara M. Englert.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, January 22, at 9 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Spring Green, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Peter Church, 350 Fair Street, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Burial will be in Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline, MA.
