To the Editor:
The staff, parents and students at John Brown Francis Elementary School would like to express their sincere gratitude to the Warwick Fire Department and to the Warwick Emergency Response Team. Before school the other day, a malfunctioning air heating element caused smoke to seep into our building and set off our alarms. The fire department responded in lightning quick speed, identified the problem, checked the air quality in each of our classrooms and had us ready to go by the first bell of the day. Thank you!
A few days later, when we had a medical situation arise at our open house, the EMTs were called; and again, Warwick’s finest responded quickly and with the utmost professionalism. Thank you!
I am proud to be a part of this exceptional community and am grateful for the excellent emergency services that are in place to protect all of us.
