Fausto C. “Pat” Petrarca, 98, went to Heaven Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012, from West Shore Health Center. He was the beloved husband of the late Estella M. (Sousa) Petrarca for 70 years.
He was the son of the late Domonic and Mary (Izzo) Petrarca. Pat was employed in a foundry for many years, was owner and bartender at Jack’s Bar in Warwick and a custodian for the Warwick School Department at Scott School before retiring. Mr. Petrarca was a bartender’s bartender, a member of the Elks for 40 years and was an avid baseball player and golfer.
He leaves a daughter, Dolores M. DiMartino, and a son-in-law, Don DiMartino of Warwick, five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. He was the father of the late Rose Marie Gilbert and brother of the late Domonic and Arthur Petrarca, Eleonora Caldamonie, Lucy Hill, Edna Carmino, and Lillian Botello.
His funeral will be held April 14 at 8:30 a.m. from Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, West Warwick. Visitation will be held from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Please omit flowers.
