Felix Avella, 85, died Thursday, April 14, 2016. He was the beloved husband of R. Patricia (Lynskey) Avella.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Felix and Florence (Marrocco) Avella, he has been a resident of Warwick since 1960. Mr. Avella was the owner and operator of Ocean State Auto Parts and was formerly employed as a Parts Manager for two local car dealerships. He served in the United States Army and was a Korean War veteran.
He was the beloved father of Lori P. Lazouras (Peter), Larry Avella (Donna), and Audrey L. Anderson (Mark); grandfather of Andrew Lazouras, Alexa and Haley Anderson and Madisyn Avella; brother of the late Alfred Avella, Edward Avella, Florence Burch and Adele Riley.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, April 26, at 10 a.m. in St. Clement Church, Long Street, Warwick. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
