First bike run for Zuller to hit the road Saturday

To honor the life of Elanna M. Zuller, a Pilgrim student who passed away at the young age of 17 last year in a car accident, the Zullers have planned a motorcycle run through Rhode Island this Saturday.

Participants will meet at noon at Biki’s Gathering Spot at 2077 West Shore Road, with kickstands going up at 1 p.m. For a $15 donation, participants will ride from Warwick, through West Warwick, Coventry and West Greenwich, stopping at Dan’s Place at 880 Victory Highway for a break. They’ll then ride to Exeter and back to Coventry to the Rock Junction at 731 Centre of New England Boulevard before returning to Biki’s at approximately 4:45 p.m. There will be raffles, food and live entertainment from local musicians, such as an acoustic set by Mike Flanagan and Tim Sullivan; the rock band Jam Sandwich; and Jay and the Jay Walkers, with DJ Papadopolis providing entertainment in between sets.

Also, 100 special guests will get the opportunity to qualify for a billiards tournament in which they will be challenged to sink the eight ball on the break for a chance to win $10,000.

Tickets for the event can be purchased by visiting elannazuller.com or at Biki’s. Additionally, tickets are available at the Rock Junction. Proceeds will be donated to the Elanna M. Zuller Memorial Sports Fund, which is annually awarded to a Warwick high school senior.
