Florence G. (Colvin) Morgan, 85, of Warwick passed away Sunday, February 19th at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of George M. Morgan of Warwick for 67 years.

Born in Flushing, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late John G. and Gertrude (Holmes) Colvin. Florence dedicated her life to her family and loved ones. She was an avid gardener, loved sewing and cooking, and made the best apple pie, and… There was always room around her table and in her heart for one more.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children: Susan E. Brassard of Warwick, George M. Morgan, Jr. of Warwick, John W. Morgan of Scituate, Barbara A. Walser of Idaho, Donna M. Haskins of Lincoln, James M. Morgan of Richmond, Marilyn E. Kelly of Narragansett, Christine M. Boutin of Warwick, and special daughter, Bonnie T. Davidson of Ohio; sisters Gertrude Gilroy of NY, Margaret Sweet of WY; 25 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, John C. Colvin of NY.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday, February 25th at 9:00 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be performed by Father Michael Pearson.
