Food four paws

Dr. Timothy Warren and his staff at Warren Chiropractic, 2797 Post Road, Warwick adopted the Kent Hospital Food Four Paws program as their Christmas family in 2010 and have continued this as a year round project. Food Four Paws is a Kent Hospital employee outreach program started in 2009 to assist needy elderly in the community feed and care for their pets. Patients, staff and passers-by Warren have already donated more than 200 pounds of pet food to the program and the drop-in bin is right in the front door. Everyone is welcome to contribute just by stopping by. Located on Post Road in Greenwood right across from CVS, this is a great alternative to driving to the hospital. Warren Chiropractic is Kent’s first satellite site. Food is delivered regularly by Kent employees to R.I. Meals on Wheels, Coventry and Pilgrim Senior Centers. To date employees have collected 11 tons since the program started. Kent Hospital will start its next collection drive Feb. 13 and the next delivery is March 12.
