Mike Ziroli, who has a passion for anything to do with Rocky Point, has yet to attend a summer movie night at the park, but he wanted to recognize Lauren Slocum. Slocum, president and CEO of the Central Rhode Island Chamber, came up with the idea and has organized the movie nights. Mike, a Warwick Beacon carrier and participant in Project Friends, made the plaque. The next movies in the park night is July 30 and the final showing is Aug. 20.
