Frances M. Nadeau

Frances M. Nadeau, 62, of Warwick, passed away February 17, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence.
Born in Fall River, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Alice Santos and Francis Nadeau. She spent her early years in East Providence, where she graduated from East Providence High School before moving to Warwick. She worked at the VA Hospital in Providence in the dietary department until she retired in 2005 and then worked for LaQuinta Inn in Warwick until her illness in December.
Fran was well known for her sense of humor and loyalty to those she cared about. She enjoyed bowling and was a league member of the East Providence Lanes for many years, where she spent time with many special friends. She also enjoyed wine, cooking and fishing and loved crafting with her good friends.
She is survived by three brothers, John Lusiak of Burrillville, Robert Nadeau of Ossippee, N.H. and Paul Nadeau. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and other extended family, all of whom loved her very much. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving companion, Charlotte Lynn, and a sister Virginia Cusack. Her family and friends would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Miriam Hospital, Cedar Crest Nursing Home and the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center for their compassionate care.
