my family and i were blessed to be close to a great man! someone who would do anything for anyone. he was the kind of person that put a smile on your face just to see him come in.

I was two rooms away. for fifteen years.

I was two steps away for last two years.

I was by his side with every ugly step of this cancer that took his life.

never got a phone call once! so type it twice if it makes you feel not guilty about not being a part of his life for whatever your reason.

wish you could of said good bye?couldnt even say hello? never called when he passed? i think he finished all he had to say long ago!

Dear Auntie Florence, Uncle Joe, Dennis, and Chris,

I am sorry I did not post sooner I did not know this was on here. I am so sorry for your loss. I also want you to know that I am sure Frannie was very thankful to all of you for taking care of him to the very end. Auntie Florence and Dennis you both give new meaning to the phrase, "Loving Family". You should both know you gave comfort to Frannie in his final days by surrounding him with your love and laughter. Any son and brother would be proud to call you both family. Auntie Florence and Dennis you both put your own lives on hold to care for Frannie, not very many people would ever have done that. But you both did and I know Frannie was extremely grateful to you both. Although I have not seen Frannie in 30 years he has always been in my heart. I still have a picture of when we were younger and we were singing Sonny and Cher together. I have a lot of good memories of him as I am sure you all do. It is these memories that will help get you through this. He is not alone there and he will always be with you watching over you all.

Love,

Tracy (Herbert) Hayes
