Frank A. Knight

Frank A. Knight, 92, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015, at home. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis L. (Bradford) Knight.

He was a son of the late Frank A. and Metta (Stebins) Knight. Mr. Knight was the former owner of Frank Knight Plumbing and Heating, which was founded by his father, and now operated by his sons. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, life member of the Johnson VFW Post 183, a member of its Anglers Club, Warwick Historical Society and Gaspee Day Association.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons Frank and David Knight, two daughters Doreen Grimshaw and Brenda Knight; twelve grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late William Knight, Fred and Hattie Lake.

His funeral service will be held Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation Monday 9-10 a.m.
