Jimmy Lynch snapped this photo of an enormous alligator soaking up the sun right outside the Lynch condo in Sarasota, Florida. Lynch’s wife, Joyce, says that there are many alligators around the area, the reason being that “they like to lay in the sun all day, to keep warm at night.” This causes them to make appearances in anywhere with direct sunlight. Nevertheless, Rhode Island’s snowy spring may make sunbathing with this Floridian alligator all the more reasonable. The Lynches will be back in Rhode Island with the warm weather. The gator gets to stay in Florida.
