Friendship Day at Patterson

Posted

Clients and staff members at the Patterson Building, home to the Trudeau Center’s early intervention and adult day services programs, last week enjoyed cake together in spirit of celebrating the love people have for one another, whether it’s romantic or platonic. Pictured here having some fun are Marion Maloney and Tim Sherlock, who live together in Warwick. They have been friends for more than 20 years and have been dating for the past seven. “She’s so sweet,” Tim said of his lovely lady, to which she replied, “You’re sweet.” Kevin Plunkett, the vocational coordinator and supervisor of special education at Patterson, said the affection they have for each other is endearing. “Seeing this connection is fantastic,” said Plunkett. Also, everyone in attendance was grateful to client Randy Sorrentino, who helped to bake cakes for the occasion. (Warwick Beacon photos by Jessica A. Botelho)
