Gamm announces additional performances of "Hamlet"

The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm) has announced six additional performances of “Hamlet” through Dec. 18. William Shakespeare's timeless tale of murder and revenge, directed by Gamm Resident Director Fred Sullivan Jr., has been playing to sold-out houses, nightly standing ovations and critical praise since it opened on Nov. 3, necessitating an extension just one week into its regular run.

Staged against a curtain of red ("the color of blood and passion”), The Gamm's "breathtaking" production "celebrates the Bard's rich language while making his characters, and their struggles, extraordinarily accessible," says the Boston Globe.

“Hamlet” runs through Dec. 18 at The Gamm Theatre, 172 Exchange St., Pawtucket. Tickets are $34 and $42 (depending on day/time). Contact 723-4266 or visit www.gammtheatre.org. Student, senior and group discounts available for performances through Dec. 11 only.
