National Grid has started replacing the gas mains on East Avenue during night construction in coordination with the Kent County Water Authority water main replacement project. The night work will only be for the installation along East Avenue to avoid creating any extended traffic delays on this busy roadway. Grid anticipates the installation along East Avenue to be completed in a week.
