To the Editor:
On Jan. 1, 2014, we will be taking our annual swim with the members of the Penguin Club to raise money for Special Olympics Rhode Island. At this time, we are asking for your help in raising money for this wonderful program. Our son, Michael, continues to participate in Special Olympics as he has for the past 25 years.
Your donation does not keep us warm, but provides funds for sports training and athletic competitions for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. The Penguin Club continues to be one of the largest supporters of Special Olympics Rhode Island. All donations are tax deductible and checks can be made out to Special Olympics Rhode Island. Your donation directly benefits the athletes in Rhode Island.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support and wish you and your families a happy and healthy holiday season.
Jane, Lou
and Michael Azie
