The Tony Award Winning Best musical, "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" is getting a rip-roaring production at the Providence Performing Arts Center through Sunday, December 16.

While too late for review in these papers, it is not too late to get tickets to this clever, funny musical.

If you don't know the plot, we'll give you a hint and then let you be surprised with the many twists and turns.

Monty is a distant heir to the family fortune who sets out to jump the line of succession by killing off the family members ahead of him in line, making for some clever and hilarious tongue-in-cheek murder scenes.

He also has to juggle his affair with his mistress and bride-to-be.

Keven Massey is great as Monty, possessing a beautiful tenor voice and great articulation for understanding the lyrics to his many numbers.

John Rapson plays the D'Ysquith family members, creating a variety of characters and going through rapid costume/wig changes.

The entire cast is great, the set is like nothing you have seen on stage, the music is catchy, and the result is a fun night at the theatre.

Tickets available at 421-ARTS and on line at www.ppacri.org.
