George Bargamian

George Bargamian, age 102, of Warwick, died on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol. He was the husband of the late Anita (Terkanian) Bargamian.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Krikor and Maritza (Goshdigian) Bargamian, he lived in Warwick since 1962. He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Bargamian was employed as a customer service representative at the Turnkey Post Office in Providence for many years before retiring.

He is survived by a son, George A. Bargamian, and his wife, Deborah Riester, M.D., of Natick, MA; a daughter, Janice M. McCaughey, and her husband, John A. McCaughey, of Warwick; five grandchildren, Scott, Brian, and Jason McCaughey, and Sarah and Jessica Bargamian; and six great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Charles Bargamian, Virginia Bargamian, and Nevart Kezirian.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, January 7, at 10 a.m. in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Church, 70 Jefferson Street, Providence. Burial was private.
