Warwick City Hall Ghost Tours will return this year Saturday, October 29 in cooperation with the Ghost Hunt Organized Search Team (GHOST), the city and the Warwick Center for the Arts.

Tours are being offered at 7, 8, and 9 p.m. and tickets must be purchased in advance. Tours will begin in City Council Chambers, where GHOST team members will discuss their experiences in paranormal studies and offer evidence reviews of recent investigations of City Hall and the former Kentish Artillery Armory which houses Warwick Center for the Arts.

Mayor Scott Avedisian and Stephany Hessler, Warwick Center for the Arts Board of Directors’ President, announced the tours.

Demonstrations of ghost-hunting equipment and tours of City Hall, including the site of the former municipal jail in the City Hall basement, will follow. All tours will end at the Center where there will be Halloween activities for all ages, raffles, and refreshments available for purchase.

Tickets for the ghost tours are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under. There is limited capacity for each tour time, so tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets are available by calling Warwick Center for the Arts at 737-0010.

Those who don’t want to take the tour but would like to visit the museum for refreshments, the raffle, and Halloween atmosphere are welcome; tickets are not required for those events.

GHOST, the Warwick-based investigative group consists of a core of three investigators who occasionally will take guests along with them. With more than a decade of investigative experience, personal experiences, GHOST members pride themselves on the integrity of their investigations, Past investigations include the Slater Mill, the Bristol Armory, USS SALEM, the Kent County Daily Times newspaper offices, Smith Castle, the Westerly Armory, Shady Lea Mill, Foster Town Hall, Stagecoach Tavern, Warwick City Hall, amongst others.
