Going international

IN THE SWING: Becki Manzo, fifth grade teacher and social studies teacher, added some spice to the event.

GOING PLACES: Fourth graders Grace Iannuccelli, Michael Ferrazza, Alex Picard, Marissa Hundley, Ava Brennan, Marissa Martini and Cassidy McLoughlin didn’t have to leave the classroom to imagine traveling.

On Friday, April 10, Saint Kevin School held a Culture Night with a variety of countries represented. Students did research on the country their class picked and created displays with cultural facts about each country. The evening also included a variety of foods from each country. Portugal, Italy, France, Ireland, China, Mexico and the United States were the countries represented. With an Asian flare are Heather DeCiccio, Sandra LeBeau and Kim Kleinhenz. Heather and Kim are the kindergarten teachers and Sandra is the teacher assistant for them. (Photos courtesy of Roger Parent)
