It was a perfect day for golf, an overcast sky and 70-degree weather for the 12th Annual Alzheimer’s Association Golf Tournament at Valley Country Club June 9. Bankers Life and Casualty Company, located in Warwick was gold sponsor of the tournament. Greg Gelineau, Alzheimer’s Association Board Member, and Asst. Regional Director for Bankers Life said, “I am proud to be a part of the success of this tournament. The Rhode Island Chapter raised over $25,000 to support local programs including counseling for families, information and referral services, early stage engagement programs, the 24-hour helpline and other programs.
