Good canine care

To the Editor:

It is heartwarming to see people walking their dogs every day, no matter how inclement the weather.

It is distressing to know that many others shirk this duty, denying their dogs the health and happiness that comes with daily exercise.

We all have a role to play. We can exhort, we can offer help, we can be a caring, conscientious community attentive to the needs of all, including our canine friends.

So if I don't walk my dog, that is your business?

My dog runs around my large fenced in back yard is that not enough exercise???

Oh and make sure if all these people start walking their dogs in the city environment to pick up the dog &*(^.

So what, it is animal cruelty not to walk your dog so he or she can sniff a telephone pole or piss on a hydrant?

My dog is not like most people, obese. I would imagine cutting back on feeding your dog table scraps would help.

Also, because I have to work 80 hours a week to pay the ever rising taxes in this city, state, and nation it leaves little time to take the dog for a nice long walk.
