Goodinson, Rossi win Water Pollution Control Association awards

Two Warwick Sewer Authority staff members were among the Rhode Island wastewater professionals who received state and regional awards at the annual Narragansett Water Pollution Control Association (NWPCA) Awards Banquet, held on May 16.

“DEM enjoys a good working relationship with NWPCA and we are delighted to add our thanks and appreciation for the hard work and dedication of so many in the wastewater collection and treatment professions,” said DEM Director Janet Coit in a statement. “These men and women – and their many colleagues – are responsible for maintaining public health and the health of our bays and rivers, all of which are critical to a healthy economy.”

Staff members of the Warwick Sewer Authority receiving awards were: Scott Goodinson, the James Marvelle operator award, and BettyAnne Rossi, the Crystal Crucible Award.
