Grace J. (Palazzo) Sauro, 85, passed away Saturday April 11, 2015 at Scalabrini Vila. She was the wife of the late Alfred D. "Al" Sauro, and co- founder of Al & Grace Aloha Tours.

She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Frank and Venera (Toti) Palazzo. Mrs. Sauro was a parishioner of St. Timothy church and very active in music ministry for 30 years. She was a member of the St. Timothy Women's Club where she ran various events for the parish as well as running the Jewelry Booth for decades at the Holiday Bazaar. She volunteered many years for the Catholic Charity Drive, instructed CCD and served on "Action for a Change" Committee in the 1970's.

She is survived by one daughter, Dianne Giammarco, one son, Joseph Sauro both of Warwick; five grandchildren: Michael, Marissa, Matthew, Peter, Gabriella; and one great-granddaughter, Chloe Grace. She was the sister of the late Leo Palazzo.

Her funeral is Friday at 9:45 a.m. from "Woodlawn" Funeral Home 600 Pontiac Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
