Great variety and pastries, too

A ribbon cutting with an Armenian flare held last week celebrated the new ownership of the Pilgrim Dollar Plus Store at the corner of Pilgrim Parkway and Warwick Avenue. The store continues to offer a wide selection of household goods at discount prices in addition to personalized items such as key chains and jewelry with names and initials. There is also a selection of party items, including birthday cards by years of birth that list events that occurred on that year. The Saribekyans have also added a nook with tables and chairs where people can enjoy a hot dog and, even better, a wide selection of Armenian pastries. At right, Mayor Scott Avedisian is joined, from left, by Fr. Shnork Souin, Shushanik Hakopyan and Gagik Saribekyan at the ribbon cutting. Playing hostess (above) are Mariam Saribekyan and Nelly Baghdasarian. They are serving Alvard Avetisyan and Shake Arslanian.
